Okay, I honestly want to know why having nice dolls/characters/whatever is annoying to people. I'm not being sarcastic or anything. I genuinely would like to know.

There's been a lot of talk on Pullip Parade recently mentioning how much people hate "sugary-sweet" Pandas. Now, their opinions are their opinions and I wouldn't criticize them, but I do have trouble understanding them. What's the difference between a nice Panda and a sugary-sweet one, or are they both "bad?"

I'd like to think my Kumi isn't "sugary-sweet." Yes, she's friendly, but that's because it's hard for me to make a character that's just flat-out mean for no reason (and if I did, wouldn't I become part of the "bratty/evil Panda" group?). Not to mention that that's just the person Kumi turned out to be. Her personality is more than likely based a lot on my own, though she's probably much more patient than me and also a lot more naive.

If someone hates Kumi's personality, does that mean they hate mine, as well?

Maybe I'm reading too deep into it. Or maybe it just doesn't make sense to me that people think being nice/friendly/happy is annoying. I guess it's just as well. No one ever said humanity made sense.
